Course Objectives The aim of this course is to give information about the rules and practice of short term and long term social insurance branches in Turkish Law in the light of Constitutional social security right.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The student who succeeded this course will be able to: • Describe basic concepts and principles of social security law,
  • Give information about international and domestic legal sources of social insurance law,
  • Discuss about the obligations of employers and duties of government within the scope of Turkish social insurance law,
  • Explain the sub-branches of short term and long term social insurance branches,
  • Examine legal practice and court decisions about social insurance law.
Course Description The basic concepts and principles of social insurance law within the scope of social security law and the legislation and practice about short term and long-term social security branches comparatively.
